Teresa Boast

Artist: Teresa Boast

Teresa has become renowned for her paintings of quirky, brightly coloured sheep. They all have great personalities designed to make you laugh, smile, or feel you want to adopt them.

Not all of my paintings are of sheep however, and worked in watercolour or acrylic, they range in style from realistic to softly surreal or abstract.

Phew!

Phew!

Many of my images have been made into greeting cards and are now available at selected outlets across the country. Some of my sheep paintings have been published as limited edition prints.

I studied at Harrogate School of Art and I am now a professional artist living and working in Nidderdale.

I was a member of the Yorkshire Watercolour Society and exhibited with them throughout Yorkshire.

Each year as part of the Nidderdale Festival I open my studio, in Bewerley, to the public. My paintings have been included in exhibitions at the following venues:

The Mall Galleries - London
Beningbrough Hall - York
The Pannet Gallery - Whitby
The Mercer Gallery - Harrogate
Newby Hall - Ripon
Fountains Hall - Fountains Abbey Estate, Ripon
Cannon Hall - Barnsley
Harlow Carr Gardens - Harrogate
