The latest research from a team at the University of Cambridge says it doesn't matter what you read, as long as you enjoy it!
Reading for pleasure can improve memory, mathematical ability and performance at school, say authors Professor Barbara Sahakian and Dr Christelle Langley.
And the most important thing is that you find something to read and start from there, say the scientists.

What did the reading review find?

Reading benefits adults as well as children - is there a grown up in your life who loves to read?
The scientists worked with a charity founded by Queen Camilla - The Queen's Reading Room - to put together their review.
"Reading is a great way to support our brain health, develop important cognitive skills and boost our wellbeing," said the review's author Prof Sahakian.
And the good news is, she says it's "never too late to start".
The review included a study of 10,000 children who read for pleasure early in life.
The study suggested children who read may have better academic performance and healthier life habits compared to those who do not read for fun.
And the benefits are said to carry on throughout life, with the study concluding that "engaging with books is associated with enhanced well-being, reduced stress, and greater empathy".
So whether its a novel or a newspaper, a comic or novel, a magazine or the back of a box of corn flakes, as long as you are reading for fun scientists say there are benefits!
