The new Children's Laureate for 2026-2028 will be announced on Tuesday 7 July.
We'll be revealing who they are on Newsround and will be putting your questions to them.
The Waterstones Children's Laureate is one the most important representatives in the country when it comes to children's literature.
It's awarded every two years to a "renowned writer or illustrator in recognition of their exceptional talent".

The job of the Children's Laureate is to share the importance of reading and books for children.
They work to improve reading opportunities for all children in the UK and encourage storytelling and creativity.
The new Children's Laureate will take over from Frank Cottrell-Boyce, who was appointed to the role in 2024.
What does the Children's Laureate do?
The British author and screenwriter lives in Liverpool, and has won multiple awards for his books.
Some of his most well-known titles are Millions, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Flies again, Cosmic, The Astounding Brocolli Boy and The Wonder Brothers.
He has also written for TV shows including Doctor Who and films like Goodbye Christopher Robin.
