Monkey rescued after being found on London bus

A marmoset monkey has been rescued by the RSPCA animal charity after being found alone on a London bus.
The small female primate - which has been named Oyster - was discovered in the north-west of the city before being taken to safety.
Experts say she has now been checked by a vet and moved to a sanctuary, where she will be cared for while specialists decide what happens next.
The RSPCA said that people who are struggling to care for animals should ask for help, rather than leave pets without care.

Marmoset monkeys are native to the tropical rainforests and scrub forests of South America
The marmoset was found by a bus driver after the vehicle arrived at a stop in Kensal Rise.
The driver contacted animal welfare officers who took the primate to safety.
RSPCA staff named the female monkey Oyster, after the London travel card.
Following a check-up by a vet Oyster was given a clean bill of health and was moved to a specialist sanctuary, where experts have been looking after her.
The RSPCA explained that anyone who is finding it difficult to care for an animal should speak to a vet or an animal charity.
They added that officers were also looking into how Oyster came to be left on the bus.
