Strictly Come Dancing 2026: Which celebrities are taking part in the new series?

Attention Strictly fans! It's almost time to dust off your ballroom shoes and tune in for another fabulous series of Strictly Come dancing.

It's been six months since we saw Karen Carney and Carlos Gu waltz off stage with the winner's glitter ball, but luckily a sparkling new season kicks off in the autumn.

But, who are the celebs taking part this year?

The BBC says contestants will be announced throughout the summer, so we'll keep adding them here - don't forget to check back and tell us who your favourites are!

Actress Lacey Turner is the first celebrity contestant to be announced for the 2026 series.

The EastEnders star says she is "so excited" to sashay onto the dance floor, adding that she is a "huge fan" of the show.

"I am a huge fan and can't quite believe I will be taking part and not watching at home this year! I look forward to meeting everyone and learning a new skill," she says.

Lacey has won loads of awards, including a British Soap Award and National Television Award for her role on the show, and has also starred in TV dramas including the BBC's Our Girl.

But will she be lifting the glittering trophy at the Strictly final? We'll have to wait and see.

Can you spot who's missing?

We know that 15 out of the 20 professionals will be back this year.

Returning to the dance floor will be Dianne Buswell, Julian Caillon, Amy Dowden, Katya Jones, Neil Jones, Nikita Kuzmin, Jowita Przystał, Johannes Radebe, Aljaž Škorjanec, Alexis Warr, Kai Widdrington, Nancy Xu, Carlos Gu, Lauren Oakley and Vito Coppola.

Karen Hauer, the show's longest-serving female pro, who has been with the show for 14 years, won't be returning.

Other professional dancers including Gorka Marquez, Nadiya Bychkova, Luba Mushtuk and Michelle Tsiakkas will not be coming back this year.

Also not returning this season are Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman who had presented the show together since 2014.

The new series of Strictly will be presented by Emma Willis, Josh Widdicombe and Johannes Radebe.

The gang are back to judge another line up in the new series

Back once again for the new series will be the esteemed judging panel of Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke and Head Judge Shirley Ballas.

They'll be casting a beady over the performances each week, giving their expert opinion on the dances and delivering their scores.

Who will get the most 10s this series and who will get Craig's signature sass? We can't wait to find out!
