There have been question marks over the relationship between the US and UK have in recent months, after President Trump criticised UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer for not getting involved in the conflict in Iran.
It's hoped this visit can be a way to strengthen relations between the countries, and provide a way for more discussions to take place.

The couple arrived at Andrews military airbase in Maryland on Monday afternoon

They were then given flowers by children and a band performed the British and American national anthems.

The King and Queen went on to meet the Trumps at the White House

The President and First Lady treated the Royal couple to afternoon tea in the White House Green Room

They were also keen to show off their newly-expanded beehive, rebuilt in the shape of a miniature White House

Later in the day the Royal visitors attended a garden party at the UK's embassy in Washington DC, with more than 600 guests

Those invited were people with US and UK connections, and the Queen came across a familiar face British Olympic diver Tom Daley who now lives in the US
On Tuesday, the King will give a speech to US politicians in Congress.
This will be the first time a monarch has made a speech like this since Elizabeth II in 1991.
