Funeral director stole £14k of charity donations

A Somerset funeral director who kept thousands of pounds in charitable donations made by the friends and relatives of grieving families, has been given a 15 month suspended jail sentence.

Alison Pople also faked letters from some of the charities, to cover up her thefts.
