Hear one of country music star Little Jimmy Dickens' hits
The country singer-songwriter Little Jimmy Dickens has died age 94.
Dickens was the oldest member of the Grand Ole Opry, a weekly music concert broadcast live on the US radio from Nashville, Tennessee.
Despite being just just 4ft 11in (1.5m) tall, Dickens said he had never been self-conscious about his height saying it had "been good for him".
Jimmy Dickens is thought to have been the first country star to wear a rhinestone suit on stage in 1950.
His novelty songs, including May the Bird of Paradise Fly Up Your Nose, earned him a spot in the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1983.
