One of the things that grabs your attention is the sheer scale of the building. The main foyer is enormous with a large central open space, surrounded by popcorn, drinks, ice cream, coffee, sweets, games and a soft seating area. Above your head as you walk in you will find a number of tv screens suspended from the ceiling and surrounded by wavy sheets (we are guessing these are there for impact). All this is there for everyone’s use, ticket holders or not. The building has been designed with a single access point to all 10 screens, at which point you need to present a ticket to see your film. The screens all have stadium seating, high backs and a cup holder. There is ample leg room between you and the person in front and every seat has a good view of the screen. A first for Jersey, and Britain, are VIP boxes. These can be booked out as a whole or tickets can be bought individually. You see the same film as everybody else, however you are enclosed within your own soundproof booth, with its own sound system, a flat surface between seats and a waitress service. There is a bar area on a mezzanine level (which is only open to ticket holders) with an outside seating area, open in the summer and a VIP only lounge for people who have either booked a VIP booth, or a ticket within the booth.
