  3. Shockers going into the final decisionpublished at 20:57 GMT 17 February 2016

Louise's Showstopper has brought her back into the running. Geri's simplicity and Jermaine's biscuit issues have brought them down a peg or two, meaning all three are still in contention for Star Baker.

And there's one we definitely know - biscuits are Butterfingers John's forte.

  4. "You were immensely ambitious"published at 20:56 GMT 17 February 2016

Will Jermaine take the final with his Wembley Stadium?

"It just needs more detail," Paul says, breaking into the construction. "The bake is beautiful, you just needed a bit more time."

The biscuits are snappy, but Jermaine didn't manage to make the required 12 pieces...

  6. "I think the whole thing looks very, very good"published at 20:55 GMT 17 February 2016

Can Louise get a clean sheet with her football display?

Mary and Paul are delighted with Louise's display and the bake.

"The shirts are cripsy, buttery... The flavour is coming through well," Paul says.

The base is slightly soft, but in Paul's words, "the bakes are near enough perfect".

  7. "I'm all for bribing the judges"published at 20:54 GMT 17 February 2016

Will John's Wimbledon Showstopper serve up an ace?

"It's crispy!" Paul says positively. "Is it supposed to be crispy!?" John queries.

"It is absolutely scumptious!" Mary exclaims.

"It looks hideous, but it tastes beautiful," Paul says, as John earns a round of applause.

  8. "It's a bit simple, but I think you've done well"published at 20:53 GMT 17 February 2016

Will Geri's ginger jumper be worthy of a gold medal?

"Are you serious, is that meant to be me?" Paul says, horrified at Geri's gingerbread homage. "I think overall the idea was sound enough, but it looks like a beach."

"Every single biscuit is the same thickness," Mary says, enjoying how the biscuit snaps.

"It's a great biscuit," Paul critiques, Mary saying the same.

Ed comes to a glum John's aid; "Nobody remembers the winner, so I wouldn't stress!" he says hopefully.

"I think stress is about all that's left," he says, looking down at his naked biscuits.

  13. Geri creates a biscuit Paulpublished at 20:49 GMT 17 February 2016

Geri's decided to pay homage to Hollywood with one of her biscuit spectators.

"Paul has a beard, doesn't he?" Geri asks, "he's either going to be flaccid or horrified."

Louise has brought a diagram of a football pitch with her. "Is there a line down the middle?" she wonders, revealing she's not a regular viewer of Match of the Day.

  14. One hour to gopublished at 20:48 GMT 17 February 2016

"I'm afraid this is going to be major disaster," John says, surveying his bench. (Quiet down audience, your glee is deafening!)

Jermaine is equally fearful as he discards egg whites.

  15. Jermaine snaps!published at 20:47 GMT 17 February 2016

Disaster strikes as Jermaine's first half of the stadium breaks as he attempts to remove it from its metal mould.

"I just need to get enough pieces to build it," he says determinedly.

  17. How do you bake yours?published at 20:46 GMT 17 February 2016

"Oh come on you horrible little thing," John says as he kicks off his Showstopper.

Jermaine's playing with time by baking his biscuits individually - a risky strategy, given the scale of his plans.

The other bakers are free to start their decorations. Including John, who needs as much time as he can get to work the recipe out.

  18. Jermaine's Wembley Stadiumpublished at 20:45 GMT 17 February 2016

Jermaine's going all nostalgic on us and celebrating his days as an England football player with a gingerbread biscuit replica of Wembley Stadium, complete with an Italian meringue coating and a sugar arch.

"If I wanna win, this needs to go well," he says, pointing out Geri has his main rival.

  20. Louise's family football matchpublished at 20:45 GMT 17 February 2016

"Jamie doesn't even know he's going to be a biscuit," Louise says, rolling out her dough with a lot of effort.

She's (very sweetly) using her footballer husband as inspiration for her recreation of one of his matches. She's forgoing arms, legs and heads and creating football shirt biscuits for her players.
