The terrace consists of at least nine houses, all three storeys high with bay windows on the ground and first floors, to the left of the front door as you look from the street. Above each front door is a rectangular window, with three similar windows on each top floor. They appear to be sash windows. The picture is taken from one corner. The gable end is entirely brick save for two small windows, one square and one rectangular, on the top floor. Chimneys, each with three outlets, are silhouetted against a sky just after dawn or just before dusk. As the terrace runs into the distance, the last three seem to stap down slightly, perhaps following the contour of the road. Another two lower buildings appear at the very end, possibly attached to each other and/or the main bulk of terrace.
