Susan is fed up with the state of the local area. It is plagued by litter, dog mess and graffiti. Susan tells Michael and Ben that she is going to stand for local councillor.
Michael has acquired a new pet - a tarantula called Nicola. Unfortunately, much to Ben and Susan's horror, Nicola soon goes missing. If this wasn't scary enough, Michael then reveals that Nicola is pregnant.
Susan launches her election drive but finds that the voters are more than a little apathetic. Janey will only vote if Susan does her cleaning and Ben is continually trying to sabotage the campaign.
Will Susan win the election? And will Nicola be found before the house is overrun by hundreds of baby spiders?
