Your entertainment roundup

We get many emails into the Ouch! inbox, asking us to advertise various disability events and happenings. There is no possible way we can mention them all, but here are a couple that we would just hate for you to miss out on.
NWDAF presents DaDaFest 6, which takes place in venues in both Liverpool and Manchester throughout November.

The event includes performances from big names in comedy such as the Nasty Girls, and Ouch's own Laurence Clark who says,
“DaDaFest is a unique mixture of both professional and community-based disability art – showcasing the best whilst giving everyone an opportunity to have
a go. Without it I doubt if I’d have become a comedian, as the first time I ever performed was at the first festival in 2001.”

The programme for DaDaFest is available from the NWDAF website.

There are also a lot of exciting things happening in the Carousel camp. Carousel is an organisation which "inspires people with learning disabilities to achieve their artistic ambitions".

Events include brand new musical Debbie Rock Angel, and various club nights, but you can find a full list on their news section

We're going to try and bring you an entertainment update once a month on the Ouch! weblog, so if you have anything to tell us about,
email
the Ouch! inbox.
