Out goes the first member of Team Brown since Gordon made it to Number 10. Spencer Livermore, who's been at Gordon Brown's side for a decade and fought for him to get to No. 10, is leaving for the world of advertising just as many senior figures from that world have headed in the other direction.
In first came Stephen Carter - formerly of JWT, NTL, OFCOM and Brunswick. He then brought in Nick Stace, former director of campaigns and communications at Which?, David Muir, of WPP empire and the co-author of The Business Of Brands and the former investment banker, Jennifer Moses. This analysis of the new arrivals is worth a read.
