The Earth's early atmosphere

Description

"This video explores which gases might have been present in the Earth’s early atmosphere. Volcanic activity is thought to have contributed to large amounts of carbon dioxide, little or no oxygen, water vapour, and very small amounts of other gases like ammonia and methane. But this composition changed over millions of years from being rich in carbon dioxide to mostly nitrogen and oxygen.
