Organising ideas

Once you’ve finished your research, you can use your plan to organise your ideas. It is helpful to organise your work into stages. Therefore, prepare for these stages.

Here is a guide to help you.

Stage 1

  • Introduce yourself and explain your subject choice, giving reasons.

Stage 2

  • Present information but make sure that you refer to your research.
  • Express an opinion using a variety of phrases, expressions and verb forms.
  • Communicate as a group by using a wide and varied range of questions and statements.
  • Agree or disagree with statements made, giving extended reasons.

Stage 3

  • Reach a conclusion having considered all perspectives.

You will also need to speak clearly and focus on your pronunciation.
