La pollution. Le cout de l’essence. Trop de circulation en ville. Les vacances dans l’espace. Il y a beaucoup de raisons pour lesquelles les ingénieurs travaillent dur pour inventer de nouveaux moyens de transport écologiques, efficaces… et amusants.
Voici nos moyens de transports futuristes favoris…
- Le monorail suspendu. Comment peut-on réduire la circulation dans une grande ville et éviter les bouchons ? Avec un monorail suspendu, bien entendu. Utilisant la suspension magnétique, ce tramway aérien sera à environ dix mètres au-dessus de la rue. Il sera rapide, silencieux et parfait pour l’environnement.
- La voiture autonome. La technologie des voitures autonomes existe déjà. Il est important que la conduite automatisée soit sécurisée and que ces voitures puissent détecter les signaux routiers et réagir aux obstacles sur la route comme par exemple les autres véhicules et les piétons.
- Le vaisseau spatial touristique. Les ingénieurs sont en train de développer un vaisseau spatial pour les touristes. Le vol ne dura pas longtemps mais on flottera en apesanteur pendant quelques minutes et on verra la Terre de l’espace. Ce sera inoubliable.

Transport of the Future
Pollution. The cost of fuel. Too much traffic in town. Holidays in space. There are lots of reasons as to why engineers are working hard to invent new green, efficient and fun means of transport. Here are our favourite futuristic means of transport:
- The suspended monorail. How can we reduce traffic in cities and avoid traffic jams? With a suspended monorail, of course! Using magnetic suspension, this aerial tram will be about 10 metres above street level. It will be fast, silent and perfect for the environment.
- The driverless car. Driverless car technology already exists. It is important that automated cars are safe and able to detect road signs and respond to obstacles in the road such as other vehicles and pedestrians.
- Space tourism vessel. Engineers are developing a space vessel for tourists. The flight will not last long but you will float in zero gravity for a few minutes and we will be able to see the earth from space. It will be unforgettable.
