Il ne parle pas beaucoup le français et au début, je ne savais pas comment réagir. Il travaille dur et il ne se plaint jamais, malgré les problèmes auxquels il a dû faire face. Récemment, j’ai commencé à l’aider avec la lecture.
I'm Omar. There is a boy in my class who arrived at the beginning of the year. He is a refugee whose family escaped from the war in Syria. He does not speak much French and at first I did not know how to react. He works hard, and he never complains, despite the problems he must have faced. Recently I started to help him with reading.

Hi. My name's Nina. On Saturday I saw a documentary on TV about the life of children living on the streets all around the world. I was shocked by the poverty in some of these countries. There is a lack of jobs for their parents and these little ones lead a difficult and dangerous life. The lack of quality of life of these people made me sad and I gave some money to a charity that helps them.
