Tongue in Cheek Writing | Film & TV Scratch Night
Deadline: Friday 15th May 2026

Tongue in Cheek Writing is looking for screenwriters based in Cardiff and South Wales to contribute 10-minute scripts to a scratch night specifically for writers of film and TV (and yes, radio too!). Selected scripts will be given a script-in-hand reading / performance at Porter's Theatre in Cardiff on 23rd June!
THEME: Pilot
'Pilot" can mean a 10 minute extract from a pilot episode, a short film about pilots, or however else you choose to interpret it.
As this is a scratch night for mediums other than theatre, entries must be recognisably in the screenplay or radio play format. As such, they should also be around 10 pages in length.
Writers MUST be either Cardiff / South Wales based, or able to commit to being in Cardiff on the evening of 23rd June.
DEADLINE: 15th May at 23:59
Submit PDF of script to: Tongueincheekwriting@gmail.com
