In Benin, rain has continued to fall over the water-logged country which is experiencing its worst flooding in decades.

The United Nations estimates that close to 700,000 people have been affected by months of heavy downpours, and now fatalities from cholera are being reported.

For more on how people are coping BBC Network Africa's Akwasi Sarpong spoke to Vincent Nnana, a reporter in the capital Cotonou.
