Dr. Kayode Fayemi has finally been sworn in as Ekiti State's governor more than three years after beginning a court case to contest the 2007 Gubernatorial elections.
Segun Oni was declared the winner for the ruling PDP party, but he's now been ousted from the governor's mansion after the courts ruled in favour of Dr. Fayemi.
President Goodluck Jonathan congratulated Dr Fayemi for his patience and commitment in pursuing his case in the appeals court.
BBC Network Africa's Bola Mosuro asked Governor Fayemi if he was surprised by the court's decision.
