The international anti-corruption watchdog, Global Witness, has accused major banks in Britain of being complicit in Nigerian corruption by accepting millions of pounds in deposits from corrupt Nigerian politicians.

The group says that by taking money from corrupt officials, the banks helped to entrench poverty in Nigeria.

BBC Network Africa's Paul Bakibinga spoke to Robert Palmer, a campaigner with Global Witness.
