Kenya's National Commission on Human Rights accuse the US and UK of supporting illegal counter-terrorism activities in the region

The Kenya National human rights commission is accusing the United States and the United Kingdom of supporting counter terrorism units in the region that violate the human rights of suspects.

An official of the commission Omar Hassan says the two governments are heavily financing a counter-terrorism strategy which is unaccountable; and commits illegal acts.

On the line to Nairobi, Focus on Africa's Sophie Ikenye asked him what specifically the commission is accusing the US and UK governments?
