lf all goes according to plan, the people of South Sudan should in a few years time be enjoying life in modern cities which - viewed from above - would be in the shape of animals.

The government of South Sudan has announced a plan to rebuild and transform the capital cities of the largely rural region, by reshaping some into the shapes of animals and fruit.

The south is rich in oil, but poverty and hunger is high throughout the region.

Our reporter in Juba, Peter Martell told BBC Network Africa's Paul Bakibinga about the plans.
