Regional police in Mwanza, Tanzania say they have arrested a Kenyan man who was allegedly trying to sell an albino man.

The Tanzanian authorities have implemented measures to stop the ritual killing of albinos.

Those who engage in the practice, in Tanzania and some neighbouring countries, believe that the body parts of people with albinism are endowed with magical powers which bring success and riches.

Focus on Africa's Hassan Arouni spoke to Eric Nampesya, the BBC's reporter in Mwanza.
