Rwandan government denies any complicity in pre-election violence

Days before Rwanda's presidential election, due on Monday, the government has strongly denied any involvement in the killing of political opponents.

The comments came in response to allegations made during a BBC investigation that President Kagame's government had ordered assassinations.
