The BBC recently relocated a couple of its reporters in Nigeria to strengthen coverage of the country.

One of those who has moved is our reporter in the nation's commercial capital, Lagos, Fidelis Mbah.

He has now been deployed to the southern region comprising the Niger Delta and south east areas.

He sent us this report about life in his new base, Port Harcourt.
