The British fashion model Naomi Campbell is testifying at the special tribunal for Sierra Leone in the Hague.

She has been summoned to testify in the trial of former Liberian president Charles Taylor, who is facing charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity.

The British fashion model has been answering questions about rough diamonds Charles Taylor allegedly gave to her after a dinner party hosted by Nelson Mandela in South Africa in 1997.

Her appearance at the tribunal has quadrupled the number of jounalists covering the proceedings, but how much do Sierra Leoneans back home know or care about Ms Campbell's appearance?

BBC Network Africa's Umaru Fofana has been finding out in Freetown.
