Angola are set to increase public spending - the opposition worry about corruption

Angola have just unveiled a new budget increasing public spending by a third.

The government is also creating a new fund, from oil profits, which will be used for infrastructure projects.

In a bid to increase transparency, the authorities have said there will be a stronger focus on the better management of state funds.

BBC Network Africa's Akwasi Sarpong spoke to our reporter in Luanda, Louise Redvers.
