A Rwandan opposition politician Adre Kagwa Rwisereka has been found dead.
Mr Rwisereka, the vice president of the Green Democratic party of Rwanda was reported missing yesterday; and today his body was found in a swamp in southern Rwanda.
Police have confirmed the death, and say they are investigating.
The incident comes nearly three weeks after nine members of an opposition coalition were rounded up for staging unlawful demonstrations against the government.
Opposition politicians and journalists have complained of intimidation by the government ahead of presidential elections next month.
