Kenya: Somalia's foreign fighters threaten region

Kenya's foreign affairs minister Moses Wetangula has described the state of affairs in Somalia as "very, very dire".

Earlier this week, East African countries made a desperate call for help to the United Nations; this time, Mr Wetangula is focusing on what he regards as the growing presence of foreign fighters in the ranks of al-Shabab in Somalia.

BBC Focus on Africa's Sophie Ikenye asked him to explain why he was raising the alarm now.
