There were rowdy scenes in Nigeria's House of Representatives when fighting broke out between law makers.

One person was taken to hospital.

The brawl began after a group, known as The Progressives, were prevented from putting forward a motion calling for the speaker to step down over the alleged misappropriation of funds.

BBC Focus on Africa's Chris Ewokor was there and sent this report.
