South African police have arrested six people in connection with the attempted murder of an exiled Rwandan general.
General Kayumba Nyamwasa was shot in the stomach by a lone gunman in Johannesburg.
His wife accused the Rwandan president, Paul Kagame, of being behind the act but the government in Kigali has denied the charge.
General Nyamwasa is a wanted man, officials in Rwanda have accused him of trying to destabilise the government.
