Africa's first high speed train has made its inaugural journey in South Africa.

The high speed Gautrain was issued with a safety permit last week allowing the fast railway link to operate between northern Johannesburg and O.R. Tambo International airport, just in time for the opening of the World Cup.

The BBC's Nomsa Maseko was one of the first passengers and spoke to BBC Network Africa's Akwasi Sarpong from Johannesburg.
