Ghanaians are facing a substantial increase in their electricity and water bills.
Electricity bills will be increased by 42% and water by 32%.
The country's consumer rights organisation are set to challenge the level of the increase.
Most Ghanaians have very poor access to electricity supply and experience frequent blackouts.
