The success or otherwise of the International Criminal Court is being discussed in the Ugandan capital this week.
Delegates from more than 100 countries have gathered to discuss what the ICC has achieved, since its creation eight years ago.
There are currently five active investigations at the ICC, all of them about Africa, but so far there have been no convictions.
The most high profile case involves the Sudanese president, Omar al-Bashir, who is charged with crimes against humanity in Darfur.
