Election results confirmed the ruling EPRDF's landslide victory in Sunday's poll giving Prime Minister Meles Zenawi a fourth term in office.

Thousands of Mr Meles' supporters, at a rally in Addis Ababa, denounced the international campaign group, Human Rights Watch, which had criticised the way elections had been organised.
