Egypt demo against emergency laws

Six independent and opposition members of parliament gathered alongside youth movement activists in Cairo today to protest against Egypt's 29 year long emergency laws.

The laws permit indefinite detention and have rules which make it difficult for candidates to challenge President Hosni Mubarak in elections.

Focus on Africa's reporter in Egypt, Ranyah Sabry, went along.
