In Rwanda, two top military generals have been suspended from duty and arrested.

Lieutenant General Charles Muhire and Major General Emmanuel Karenzi Karake have been accused of corruption and misuse of office; and immoral conduct respectively.

Their arrest comes just days after a reshuffle in the country's military leadership.

The incident also follows reports by a local independent newspaper, that the two generals had misunderstandings with President Kagame, the government dismissed the reports as rumours.

From Kigali, the BBC's Geoffrey Mutagoma reports.
