Two weeks after sacking the cabinet of Nigeria's ailing president Umaru Musa Yar'Adua, acting president Goodluck Jonathan's new list of 38 cabinet ministers has been confirmed by the country's senate.

The move follows weeks of speculation about who would be in his new team.
