Rwanda continues to be criticised by international organisations for its human rights record.

The Kagame government has been accused of harassing members of the opposition ahead of presidential elections in August.

Not everyone agrees with that criticism, Rwanda's Minister of Justice, Tharcisse Karugarama, is travelling back from the Netherlands where he has received the International 'Unity is Strength Award'.

The minister made a stopover in London and Focus on Africa's Christophe Pons asked him about the award.
