In central Nigeria, hundreds of people have been killed in clashes in the last few months between Muslims and Christians.

After arresting many suspects, the police now say they have charged 164 people with a range of offences following the latest attacks a fortnight ago on three villages near the city of Jos, in Plateau State.

For more details, Network Africa's Simone Shaw spoke to the Nigerian police spokesman, Emmanuel Ojukwu.
