Kenyan police has now admitted they face huge embarassment after a terror suspect on an international watch-list escaped custody following his arrest in Busia, along the border between Uganda and Kenya.

The suspect is Hussein Farah Hashi; he was travelling on an Australian passport when he was picked up at Busia border post earlier this month. Eric Kiraithe is Kenya's police spokesman.

Focus on Africa's Peter Ndoro asked for more details about the suspect.
