Sudan continues to fail to provide clear figures of the income of its oil industry, according to new report by the investigative campaign group Global Witness.

A lack of an open audit is adding to mistrust between former civil war enemies in the country, with oil being largely pumped out in the south but controlled by the north.

With potentially millions of dollars at stake, it is a serious threat to an already fragile peace deal.

Peter Martell reports from Malakal, in one of south Sudan's oil producing states, Upper Nile.
