Senegalese superstar Youssou N'dour is one of Africa's biggest musical stars.

His roots are in Mbalax music, the unique Senegalese blend of griot and praise-singing, but in his new album - Dakar Kingston, he's taken a different turn

Recorded in Jamaica, with Jamaican musicians, Dakar Kingston pays tribute to reggae legend Bob Marley.

The BBC's Peter Ndoro asked him why he decided to turn to reggae.
