First to Uganda where recovery efforts in the Eastern Bududa district are entering their fourth day after Tuesday's devastating landslides.
At least 300 people are feared dead following landslides blamed on the recent heavy rains as well as deforestation which swept away three villages.
Meanwhile reports from Western Uganda's Kabale district indicate that there have also been landslides there destroying several homes, though the number of casualties is unknown.
Our Uganda reporter Joshua Mmali looks at the calamity that has hit eastern Uganda, and now seems to be shifting to the west.
