Habyarimana widow arrested in France

The widow of the assassinated Rwandan president, Juvenal Habyarimana, has been arrested in France.

Agathe Habyarimana is on Rwanda's most-wanted list for her alleged role in the planning of the 1994 genocide in which 800,000 Tutsis and moderate Hutus were killed.

She's been living in France for years, after being evacuated by the French army in the first days of the genocide.

Focus on Africa's Bilkisu Labaran asked Ally Yusuf Mugenzi, the editor of the BBC's Great Lakes service, how important a figure was Agathe Habyarimana during the pre-genocide days in Rwanda?
