Chad's President Idriss Deby and his neighbour, Sudan's President Omar al-Bashir are meeting in Khartoum today for an exchange of ideas and mutual understanding.

There's been a thaw in relations between the neighbours who have repeatedly traded accusations of supporting each other's rebels, which are mostly based along their remote shared border.

Celeste Hicks, until recently the BBC's reporter in the Chadian capital Ndjamena, spoke to Network Africa's Bola Mosuro about the rapprochment.
