Nigerian Nobel Laureate and political activist Professor Wole Soyinka is so incensed by the inclusion of Nigeria on a terrorist watch list by the US, following the Christmas Day failed plane bombing, that he turned his fire on Britain, describing it as a cesspit for Islamic fundamentalist Muslims.

This is because, according to him, the Nigerian man (Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab), who allegedly attempted to bring down a plane over Detroit, was at University here in London.

Professor Soyinka is in the USA at the moment and on the line to California Peter Ndoro put it to him that labelling England a cesspit for Islamists is very strong.
