African Union leaders have ended their summit in Addis Ababa by setting the agenda for the continent this year.

The newly-appointed chairman of the organisation, Malawi's president Bingu wa Mutharika outlined its priorities at the closing session.

Our reporter in the Ethiopian capital, Uduak Amimo gave details of the final day of deliberations.
